Bert Lucarelli will present his 14th annual Master Class this summer focusing on solo performance including the fundamentals of oboe-playing and reed-making skills. Participants will have intensive oboe instruction for five days, resulting in a performance on the last day. There will also be a reed-making session. Mr. Lucarelli works intensively one-on-one with each person in half-hour segments, carefully assessing each oboist's strengths and needs to improve performance skills. A piano accompanist will be provided during the classes and for the concert. Students may obtain 2 college credits from The Hartt School for full participation at additional cost (inquire for information about credits).
