Regular Cut (RC)
The Gonzalez RC B♭ tenor saxophone reeds have a classic, French-style filing. These reeds are made on a segment of 4.0mm, rectified to 3.5mm, leaving the scraping in the most vibrant area of the reed and producing a very brilliant sound.
The material is aged for at least 18 months before manufacture.

Jazz (Local 627)
The Local 627 Jazz reeds are more flexible and vibrant than the Tenor Regular Cut, with a larger area of scraping that gives a brilliant sound and quick response.

The Classic B♭ tenor saxophone reeds are designed for the musician to quickly adapt to, since it is a cut used by most manufacturers — with the typical quality of selection and control found in Gonzalez manufacturing. They have the typical filing of French reeds.
